Welcome To Christmas In Queensferry
Dear Trader/Resident
The present Christmas in Queensferry committee represents over forty local groups who attended the AGM and gave the committee the remit and objective to look at an alternative lighting scheme.
You will be aware that in past years the lighting was installed by laying down large concrete blocks on the High Street fitted with poles to mount the Christmas lamppost type decorations.

Last years committee quickly formed a view that this was no longer sustainable due to the cost of street closures and labour and equipment costs.
We have been working behind the scenes with assistance from City of Edinburgh Council officials to bring forward fresh ideas and we now have an indicative proposal that we would like to share with you.
You are invited to attend a public consultation session in the Rosebery Hall old court room being held on Saturday 5th September from 10am – 1pm or on Thursday 10th September from 6 – 9 pm.
The Christmas in Queensferry committee looks forward to meeting you and discussing these proposals.
Should you be unable to attend either of the consultations then please have a look at our consultation pages as we would be pleased receive your comments via our Contact Us page.
Kind regards,
Queensferry in Christmas Committee.
If you are interested in helping us or joining the committee then why not register now so that you can be kept informed.
